APCAL E-learning

APCAL offers E-Learning courses to members of the Association and to insurance professionals.

A range of training courses is available 24 hours a day via our partnership with the Comply e-Learning platform.

These courses are only available in French.

Content of training courses

Each module contains several 15-20 minute video lessons. After each course, the learner interacts freely with the material through a number of interactive exercises and a final quiz to check the level of knowledge achieved before an individual certificate is issued.

Duration of access to training

• 15 days for a training course or a course of 2 to 3 hours of training;
• 30 days for a course of 4 to 20 hours of training.

Training prices

The price of training courses is specific to APCAL, i.e:

• 50 Eur/hour for Members
• 75 Eur/hour for non-members

Invoicing will take place once your registration has been validated and your invoice will be sent to you by APCAL.

Please note : In the event of interruption or withdrawal from the programme at the initiative of the person(s) concerned, the full amount of the services will be considered as due.

Except in special cases, cancellation of the course by the Customer more than 20 working days before the course is due to start will not incur any penalty.

Comply

Comply is an independent consultancy based in Luxembourg, founded and run by Amandine Laurent, who has 15 years’ experience as Chief Compliance Officer / Head of Control and trainer in Luxembourg and internationally.

Specialising in regulatory compliance, governance, strategic risk management and ESG standards, certified ISO 31000, a member of ACAMS and active in influential networks such as ALCO, Amandine creates and runs training programmes tailored to companies’ needs.

Via its e-learning platform, Comply also offers continuing education courses that comply with the requirements of the latest Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD), dedicated to the insurance and financial sectors.

In particular, courses to prepare for insurance agent/sub-broker and broker authorisation are offered.

Registration

Registration for APCAL e-learning courses is made directly via the  Comply website. Registrations can be made throughout the year, depending on needs and availability.

Learners are free to register for one or more courses at a time, several times a year, at the same cost as for more traditional courses.

The course begins with a mini-training session on how to optimise learning on the platform.

Participants can then ask questions and interact via the platform for any information relating to the various subjects covered, as well as any questions relating to the use of the self-training tool.
